In 2005 Optimech was approached by Kajima Construction Associates to team with them on a project for Ricoh Toner to install a new toner process line at the company’s Lawrenceville, GA facility.

The contract for the new line installation included all millwright and piping work for the line.

Optimech technical staff travelled to Japan to inspect the proprietary equipment before shipment and received and erected the line in Georgia. Also included in the project were interconnecting piping, pneumatic conveying lines, and hookup to plant utility systems.

Optimech performed the complete installation in just 30 days to meet the client’s schedule and get the line into production.
