Nichiha is a leader in the worldwide fiber cement industry with technological advances in materials development and manufacturing processes. Optimech provided a design and construction solution by assisting in the delivery of the company’s first plant constructed in the United States. Optimech’s scope included the design and installation of a new fiber cement board process. The project includes large autoclaves, heavy industrial material conveyors, pneumatic dry material conveying systems, coating systems, and a 5000 ton press.

Optimech’s contract included all phases of process design including (4) 160’ long autoclaves, rail conveying systems, pneumatic raw material conveying systems and storage silos, heavy duty conveyors and integration of proprietary process equipment.

Optimech construction and installation included waste water handling piping, pneumatic conveying systems, process utility piping, boilers and ancillaries to serve autoclaves.
